WHEN:         Saturday, September 16, 2023

                     8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (shifts available)

WHERE:      Palo Alto College, Ozuna Library

                    1400 W. Villaret Blvd San Antonio, Texas 78224

WHAT:         Assisting approximately 100 people with their naturalization applications

 

• Help eligible Legal Permanent Residents complete their citizenship applications
• Training provided prior to the workshop on the morning of the event
• Training done by an experienced Immigration attorney who will go through each page of the application and show the volunteer how to fill out the applications
• Attorneys and other legal experts available the day of the event to answer any questions the volunteer might have and to review the applications
• Non-Attorney volunteers will direct traffic to the appropriate location, coordinate lines, and staff registration and the close-out table

The training will be the morning of the workshop at 8:00 am. 

We will be conducting a training prior to the workshop for those wanting to learn how to fill out the N-400 or for those that would like a refresher.  We ask that all non-attorney volunteers attend the training that morning.
